Fairy tales and Mythology have been used for millennia as a form of communication. I use the common language of fairy tales, that is taught to us from childhood, to express the complexities of human behavior. Within these stories lies the seeds of our subconscious. Some of the stories I use are directly from other sources, but some are derived from my own experience and symbology.
A.M.Sartor is a freelance illustrator that resides in Seattle, WA. She graduated a very long time ago from Cornish College of the Arts, and since then has worked in video game development, children’s/YA books and a myriad of other commercial illustration projects. Her work is a mix between traditional and digital media and has been featured at Krab Jab Studio, Light Grey Art Lab, Mazza Museum, Ghost Gallery, Every Day Original, Spectrum and SI-LA Illustration West.
