Krab Jab Studio is a brick and mortar art gallery independently owned and operated by Julie Baroh. Originally opened as a working art studio, it has evolved since 2010 into the space it is today, although early studio artist Mark Tedin (who designed our logo) and writer Chris Pramas still call Krab Jab Studio their work space. Previous Krab Jab studio artists have included sculptor Gabe Marquez and painters Michael Hoppe, Milo Duke, Kyle Abernethy and Sandra Everingham.
Julie has over 20 years of experience as a commercial illustrator with a focus on books and games, as well as a background in the fine arts, graduating from Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in Fine Art and several years’ experience working as an independent curator and art director. Julie also has worked as an assistant to Curator of Collections at the University of Washington’s prestigious Henry Art Gallery, adding museum care, research, display and conservation to her list of applicable skills.
